1. Upper and Lower Saw Guards (left) are standard accessories with the Shopsmith Mark V Model 520. They are also available as an upgrade for early Model 500's (505875) and offer significant advantages over the older cast aluminum guards. The Upper Saw Guard is made of clear plastic so your work is always visible. It also has a splitter and anti-kickback pawls. The Lower Saw Guard offers a standard-size dust collection port and is designed to ride up and down as you change the height of you table. Both can be mounted and dismounted from the Mark V in seconds. |
